Rich’s Montana Guest Ranch

A Rocky Mountain Adventure Awaits You!

On behalf of our family and crew we invite you to come and share our rural country lifestyle and passion for Montana’s great outdoors. Here at the ranch we specialize in traditional dude ranch vacations, horseback riding, Bob Marshall Wilderness pack trips, camping, Blue Ribbon fly fishing, winter snowmobiling, and fair-chase hunts for elk and deer. So come join us for the adventure of a lifetime!

“You will find that our location is a little farther back,
From the hi-ways and by-ways and the much-famed beaten track,
“With a wilderness to join us full of elk, bear, goat, and deer,
Where the mountain streams come tumbling in a rush to reappear.
“Hope someday you’ll come to join us in the things we like to do,
Until then we’d like to wish the best of everything to you.”

Services & Activities We Offer

Summer Guest Ranch Vacations

From May through September our ranch guests enjoy horseback riding, fishing, hiking, mountain bike riding, lake swimming, pontoon boat lake tours, cook outs,  evening campfires, use of all ranch amenities, and just “soaking up” the beauty of Montana.

Fall Hunting Trips

The Rich Ranch offers 2 types of hunts for mule deer, whitetail, and elk: Our 10-day pack-in wilderness hunts (September 14 – October 5) and our 6-day lodge-based hunts (beginning the 4th Sunday of October and continuing through Thanksgiving weekend in November.) Archery hunts available on a limited basis.

Summer Wilderness Pack Trips

We offer progressive 5 to 10 day guided horseback pack trips through the spectacular 1.5 million acre Bob Marshall Wilderness for up to 10 people from mid-June through Mid-September.

Winter Snowmobile Trips

Our hideaway location in the heart of the Rocky Mountains offers lots of places to snowmobile, awesome scenery, abundant wildlife, and no crowds. From the ranch you can access over 600 miles of groomed trails, another 1000 miles of secondary trails, and lots of off trail play areas.

Summer Fishing Trips

World-class fishing for native cutthroat on the Southfork of the Flathead River and its tributaries await our guests on our wilderness pack trips, an all-day horseback ride can provide access to remote mountain streams and lakes, and the on-ranch trout ponds will give fishermen of all ages a chance to hook the big one!
